Tom's Vermont workshop, Sept. 15-22, 2024, will be held at the iconic Bailey’s Mills Inn located in Reading, Vermont. Tom's teaching is based on his 53 years of experience and is geared towards all levels of experience, whether you are a beginner or a practicing professional, he can help you.

Nantucket 2024 Workshop

Tom is pleased to announce the dates for his June 2024 Nantucket Plein Air Workshop: June 1 - 8, the most beautiful month on the island! Whether you are a beginner or an experienced painter, if you are interested in learning the working methods of the Boston School painters and their approach to plein air painting as taught to Tom by R.H. Ives Gammell, he will be able to help you.

Nantucket is a unique island, located 30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful islands in the world. This is a full immersion workshop, seven complete days of painting, demonstrations and non-stop discussions about painting. Having been a summer resident of the island for over 40 years, Tom will take you to visit and paint in locations that most visitors never get to see.
